I have spent the last 11 years as Head of Science at my last two schools - Shiplake College (5 years) and Ealing Independent College (6 years). I have also held the position of Head of Biology for 13 years, as prior to my roles at Ealing and Shiplake, I was Head of Biology at Cheltenham College. My departments were known for the outstanding results pupils achieved. At Ealing Independent College, whilst I was Head of Biology, Head of Science and Deputy Head Pastoral, our results for “value added” were particularly outstanding.

My educational philosophy is that students can achieve outstanding results with excellent teaching and a compassionate approach is taken to their individual situation.
